D&G Office Interiors were asked by Richard Kemble Contracts to create an adaptable, welcoming workspace with a focus on physical wellness. In addition to improving ergonomics we sought to create a cohesive, modern design that used colour, acoustics, and natural elements to define the space.
Height adjustable sit-stand desks and market leading ergonomic chairs were incorporated to support physical health and comfort. The custom furniture features helped employees maintain focus and reduce the strain of sitting all day.
Acoustic panels were installed throughout the office to highlight designated work zones and minimize noise levels. These dividers balanced the open-plan layout by providing privacy and reducing distractions whilst still enabling team connectivity. Pendant lighting was also added to create visual interest, enhancing the office atmosphere.
To add warmth and soften the industrial feel, we incorporated indoor plants that brought a natural, biophilic element to the space.
Soft seating booths and high tables were strategically placed to add variety and offer employees diverse options for working and meeting. This flexibility allowed teams to select workspaces that best suited their needs, encouraging collaboration and focus in different areas of the office.
Our client successfully enhanced their office environment by combining ergonomic furniture with a refined design scheme. The reduced colour palette, bold ceiling focal points, acoustic zoning, and biophilic elements created a clean, smart and engaging workspace that prioritises both employee comfort and aesthetic appeal.
